See every tool actually run
17 tools behind the login, and you can watch each one work before you create an account. Every recording is the real tool, driven with real inputs, showing whatever it computed back.
Nothing here is a mockup or an animation. Where a tool refuses to answer, the refusal is in the recording too.
17 walkthroughs, 8 minutes in total. No account needed to watch.
Market
What a tonne costs, where it has been, and what the published record supports saying about where it goes next.
Benchmark Tracker
Every compliance carbon market that publishes a price, on one board, in one currency.
- You give it
- A time window, from three months to the whole history.
- You get back
- Each market with its price, its change over the window, a sparkline, and the date that price was set. Plus the spread between the most and least expensive.
- It will not
- Quote a change for a market that did not publish enough prices in the window to measure one.
Price Forecast
Where a carbon price has actually gone, carried forward with the uncertainty stated.
- You give it
- An instrument, a horizon, and the volume you are thinking about.
- You get back
- A central path from measured trend, with bands set by that market's own realised volatility, and the policy dates that fall inside the horizon.
- It will not
- Call it a forecast. It continues what has happened under an assumption, and the assumption is printed next to the number.
Carbon Valuation Desk
A price where one is published, and where none is, what actually determines value.
- You give it
- A market to look at, or a quote somebody has given you.
- You get back
- Compliance settlements with their dates, and for voluntary credits the methodology, the permanence class, the unretired overhang and the quality position.
- It will not
- Invent a voluntary transaction price. Those sit behind commercial reporting services and no free source carries them.
News Screener
Carbon market coverage, filtered to the thing you are actually working on.
- You give it
- A search term and a time window.
- You get back
- Matching coverage grouped by theme, each item dated and attributed to the publication that ran it.
- It will not
- Summarise an article it has not read in full, or present a headline as a finding.
Projects
Everything the registries have published about a project, gathered so you can check a credit before you buy it.
Project Auditor
The whole public record for one project, in one place.
- You give it
- A project name or identifier. You can also paste a broker sheet or a project document.
- You get back
- The registry record, issuance and retirement by vintage, methodology status, host country governance, and any discrepancy between what you pasted and what the registry says.
- It will not
- Resolve a vague search to a plausible looking project. If it cannot identify the project with confidence it says so.
Rating Analyzer
How strong the evidence behind a project actually is, across twelve dimensions.
- You give it
- A project identifier, and optionally a different weighting if you are buying for compliance rather than for removals.
- You get back
- A weighted score with every dimension shown, what drove it, and which dimensions had no evidence behind them at all.
- It will not
- Average in a neutral value for a dimension with nothing behind it. A project with thin evidence reads as thin, not as average.
Registry Lookup
The record as the registries hold it, with the credit ledger year by year.
- You give it
- A project name, an identifier or a serial. It suggests matches as you type.
- You get back
- What was issued, what has been retired, and what is still available by vintage.
- It will not
- Rate, score or recommend. This tool states the record and nothing else.
Methodology Lab
Compare crediting methodologies and what the independent assessment concluded about each.
- You give it
- A methodology code, or browse the full set.
- You get back
- What the methodology permits, its assessment status against the Core Carbon Principles, and how many projects use it.
- It will not
- Call a methodology good or bad. It reports the assessment and lets you weigh it.
Genius Screener
Filter the whole project database on whatever criteria you actually care about.
- You give it
- Any combination of country, type, registry, issuance, retirement and quality.
- You get back
- Every matching project, sortable, exportable, with the figures that made it match.
- It will not
- Rank projects by a single quality number without showing what went into it.
Portfolio
Build a position, then keep checking that the projects behind it still hold up.
Portfolio Architect
Build a portfolio to a budget from projects that actually exist.
- You give it
- A region, a category, a scale, and any constraints such as compliance eligibility or no reversal history.
- You get back
- A shortlist drawn from the real database, with what each project has issued and what its quality position is.
- It will not
- Invent an allocation percentage or a target price for a credit whose price is not published.
Retirement Ledger
What you retired, checked against the registry that recorded it.
- You give it
- Retirements you enter, or a registry export you paste in.
- You get back
- Your position in tonnes and spend, each entry resolved to a real project, and a flag when something changed: a status, a reversal, a withdrawal.
- It will not
- Match an entry to a project that merely looks similar. An entry it cannot resolve stays unresolved and says so.
Reporting
Measure the footprint, set the pathway, and draft the disclosure, all from published factors.
Scope 3 Identifier
Value chain emissions from what you spend, using published factors.
- You give it
- An industry, an annual spend, a year and a country. Or a whole ledger of supplier lines.
- You get back
- Emissions by category, what that volume would cost at compliance prices, and a data quality score saying how much of it rests on spend estimates.
- It will not
- Present a spend based estimate as a measurement. The quality score exists to make that distinction unavoidable.
SDG Impact
What your projects declared to their registry, and nothing they did not.
- You give it
- A project, a screen, or your own retirement ledger.
- You get back
- The goals each project declared, how that compares with the whole declared population, which goals your portfolio does not touch, and the national indicator behind each claim.
- It will not
- Estimate jobs created, households benefited or hectares protected. No free dataset publishes these per project, so each is named as unavailable instead.
Climate Disclosure
A disclosure draft against the framework that actually applies to you.
- You give it
- Your company details, where you operate, and which exposures apply.
- You get back
- A structured draft against IFRS S2, ESRS E1, California SB 253 or SB 261, or the TCFD structure.
- It will not
- Describe the output as audited, assured or certified. It is a draft and it says so on every page.
Net Zero Generator
A reduction pathway, and an honest look at the residual it leaves.
- You give it
- Your Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions, a base year, a target and a country.
- You get back
- Separate decline rates for Scope 1 and 2 and for Scope 3, the residual at the target year, and how much of your reduction comes from the grid cleaning up on its own.
- It will not
- Draw a single blended reduction line, which for a mostly Scope 3 company demands roughly twice the cut actually required.
Risk and compliance
Where a project physically sits, and which rules reach your business.
Risk Heatmap
Physical and governance risk for the place a project actually occupies.
- You give it
- A location, a project, or coordinates.
- You get back
- Natural hazard exposure, satellite detected fire activity nearby, earthquake history, and host country governance indicators.
- It will not
- Turn several unrelated hazards into one risk number that hides which one is driving it.
Compliance Navigator
Which carbon regulations reach you, and by when.
- You give it
- Your revenue, headcount, sector, and where you operate or import.
- You get back
- The regimes that apply with their current status and the dates that bind, including which are paused or being rescinded.
- It will not
- Assert one answer where a rule is genuinely contested or under injunction. It says the status is moving.
Questions people ask
Answered plainly. If the answer is no, it says no.
Are these real recordings of the product?
Yes. Each walkthrough was recorded by driving the actual terminal with real inputs, so the figures on screen are whatever the tool computed at that moment. Nothing is a mockup, an animation or a reconstruction. Where a tool refuses to answer, the refusal is in the recording too.
Do I need an account to watch them?
No. Every walkthrough on this page plays without signing in. An account is only needed to run the tools on your own data, and every plan starts with a 14 day free trial.
What does CRBN.credit cost?
Three plans, published in full on the pricing page, from 99 dollars a month to 1,600 dollars a year. Each one includes every tool and differs only in how many assessments you run a month. Registry lookup, the compliance price board and your own retirement ledger are never metered on any plan. Every plan starts with a 14 day free trial.
Where does the data behind these tools come from?
Project records come from the registries that publish them, including Verra, Gold Standard, the American Carbon Registry and the Climate Action Reserve. Allowance prices come from the government trading systems that set them, and emission factors from government publications. Everything is collected on a schedule and carries the date of the record behind it.
Can I buy or trade carbon credits through the platform?
No. CRBN.credit is not a broker, a dealer or an exchange. It holds no inventory, takes no commission, and provides no trade execution or order routing. The tools are for deciding what to buy and for checking what you already hold. You buy elsewhere.
Do the tools tell me what a voluntary carbon credit is worth?
Not as a price, because voluntary transaction prices are not public and sit behind commercial reporting services. Instead the tools show what determines value: the crediting methodology, the permanence class, the unretired overhang and the quality position. Compliance allowance prices are public and are shown exactly as published.
How are carbon projects scored?
A weighted score across twelve dimensions, computed the same way every time from published records. Methodology integrity carries the most weight, because it decides whether the tonne was ever real. A dimension with no evidence behind it is reported as unscored rather than given a neutral middle value, so a project with thin evidence reads as thin rather than as average.
Is any of this written by AI?
The figures are not. Every number is arithmetic on published records, and each report recomputes its own totals before it is shown, withholding itself entirely if the two disagree. Where a written summary accompanies a report, it is checked against the computed figures and suppressed if it introduces one that is not among them.
How current is the data?
It varies by source, and each figure says so. Registry snapshots refresh on a schedule, compliance allowance prices are published by each market on its own timetable and can be weeks or months behind, and several indicators are annual series. The date shown is the date on the record, not the date it was collected.
Which tools help with CBAM, CSRD or IFRS S2?
The Compliance Navigator works out which regimes reach you and by when, covering CBAM, UK CBAM, CSRD, EU ETS, California SB 253 and SB 261, CORSIA and the ISSB standards. The Climate Disclosure tool then drafts against IFRS S2, ESRS E1, SB 253, SB 261 or the TCFD structure, and marks every draft as a draft.
