CBAM document checklist
What a CBAM verifier will ask an installation for, by sector, grouped the way they work through it.
This is a structuring of the published rules, not a reading of them. Every group names the instrument it comes from, and the Commission's own guidance document for your sector is linked so you can check the wording rather than take ours for it.
Pick a sector above. The list changes with it: cement and fertilisers carry indirect emissions and a composition requirement that the other sectors do not, and fertilisers carry nitrous oxide as well as carbon dioxide.

Each item is drawn directly from the European Commission's published sector-specific guidance documents, not from general best practice or industry convention. Every item links to the guidance document it is based on.
Does having every document on this list guarantee I will pass verification?
No. It means you have what a verifier will ask for. What they conclude from it is their assessment to make, not something this checklist can determine in advance.
