CBAM evidence pack

Put what you already hold into the order a verifier reads it, and get back a document that also says what is still outstanding.

This computes nothing. It is a way of handing somebody the shape of your evidence, including its holes, rather than a folder and a hope. Nothing is stored or sent anywhere.

1

The installation

One pack per installation. A company with three plants makes three packs, because emissions are calculated per installation and per production process.

The plant, as a verifier would name it

The legal entity that runs it

Including coordinates if you have them

Name and email of whoever can answer

CBAM works on the calendar year.

2

The goods

Each CN code is checked against the Commission's own list. The pack states the functional unit for each one, so nobody downstream measures it on the wrong basis.

4

Methodology, in your own words

How you actually determine emissions: calculation based, mass balance, or continuous measurement, and where each applies. A verifier reads this before the numbers.

Structure drawn from Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2547 and the Commission's sector guidance. Verified against source on 16 September 2026. Preparation estimate. Not an official CBAM declaration or verification.

Common questions

Every answer here is one already established elsewhere in this section, with its source.

What is a CBAM evidence pack?

A structured version of your production, energy and emissions records, organised the way a verifier will need to read them once accredited verifiers exist. It is a formatting and gap-identification step, not a calculation.

Does this replace CBAM verification?

No. Verification can only be performed by a verifier accredited by a national accreditation body in the EU or EEA. This organises your evidence so that process goes faster once it is available to you.

What if I am missing some of the required data?

The tool tells you plainly what is missing rather than filling the gap with an estimate. Missing data is normal at this stage. The point is knowing exactly what to go and collect before your evidence gets reviewed.
